Clarity into concealed spaces, achieved with minimal disruption
When something is wrong behind a wall, inside a ceiling, under a floor, or deep inside a cavity, you shouldn’t have to start cutting blindly. My borescope inspection service allows you to see exactly what’s happening without damage, guesswork, or unnecessary repairs.
When you schedule a borescope inspection, the process is simple, minimally invasive, and designed to give you clear answers with as little disruption as possible.
1. Identify an Access Point
I’ll start by looking for an existing opening large enough to insert the small borescope camera, such as a gap near plumbing, an outlet box, an attic access point, or any natural cavity. If a suitable access point exists, no drilling is required.
2. Create a Minimal Entry (If Needed)
If no access point is available, I’ll drill a very small hole (about the size of a pencil) to insert the camera. This allows a full view inside the wall or cavity without demolition or unnecessary cutting.
3. Capture Clear Visuals
I’ll record high-resolution photos or video of what’s inside, documenting moisture, wiring, pests, structural issues, blockages, or anything else relevant to your concern.
4. Receive Your Documentation
You’ll receive all images and video files by email so you can use them for insurance claims, contractor quotes, home sale disclosures, or personal records.
5. Clean Patch of the Entry Point
If a hole was drilled, I’ll patch it immediately and finish it so it blends as closely as possible to the original surface. Most patches are barely noticeable once dry.
Using a high-resolution borescope camera, I provide detailed visual inspections in tight or concealed spaces, helping you understand issues by thoroughly explaining what I've found before committing to costly repairs. This service is ideal for homeowners, buyers, sellers, and landlords who need clear answers fast.
We can assist with inspections for:
Moisture behind drywall
Possible mold areas
Roof leaks entering from ceiling cavities
Plumbing concerns inside walls (non-invasive visual only)
HVAC duct blockages or disconnections
Pest entry points
Wire routing and junction box visibility
Structural cavity concerns
Fireplace chase or chimney interior views (where accessible)
Pre-purchase hidden-area inspections
General “mystery problem” investigations
If it’s a tight, dark, or enclosed space, the borescope can help you see it.
Without a borescope, contractors often recommend cutting open drywall or removing materials just to diagnose an issue. That may be necessary after you know what the issue is, but not before. My inspection helps you:
Avoid unnecessary demolition
Confirm or rule out problems before paying for repairs
Get pictures and video you can show insurance or contractors
Make informed decisions about next steps
Document hidden issues for real estate transactions
Every inspection comes with:
Photos and/or video
A written summary of what was found
Recommendations on who to call next, if needed
Practical steps you can take immediately (if applicable)
My goal is to give you clarity, not to sell you a repair. I simply show you what’s inside and help you understand your options.
If you want to understand what's lurking in those hidden spaces to not just guess, but know what your next steps are, I'd be happy to come do a borescope inspection and help you make the best decision for your home.
Your home deserves clear guidance, honest recommendations, and quality installation from start to finish.
